7:15am -
"Nathan, don't call Dadda. He's trying to get some work done. He'll be home in 30 minutes. If you want to call someone, call Grandma and Grandpa."
"Grandpa is already at golf and Grandma is getting ready for coffee and bagels with The Grandmas. We called them earlier."
A new anniversay
Today marks one year IN our new house. (We hit the one year purchase anniversary on March 13th.)
I didn't realized it until about midday, but since we didn't actually move in until 7pm, at that point it hadn't really been one year yet.
Now we can officially call it one year. New wall colors, new roof, new solar panels, new studio bathroom... Let's see how many house projects year two brings.
Happy Birthday Liam!
Liam woke up this morning and announced that he was not yet 4.
Okay, but he will definitely be 4 by lunch time. (We don't know exactly what time he was born - there being no clocks in the hallway - but we do know all the L&D nurses were a panini lunch.)
Last week of First Grade
Last week of school - how did this happen? Nathan says he's excited for a break from school, but sad that he won't see his teacher any more. What a wonderful year he had in his new school - and next year, for the first time in 4 years he gets to return to the same school!
The Longest Day
I told the boys that because it's the longest day they could stay up to watch the sun set. Not that I've been able to get them to go to bed before 8:30pm the past few weeks anyway... this just makes me feel better about it.
