On the move
This past weekend we left Nathan home with Grandma and Grandpa while we headed down to Houston for the wedding of our good friend Ravin. We had an amazing 37 hours in Houston thanks to the hospitality of the bride and groom and their families. And Nathan decided his first weekend without his parents would be the perfect time to figure out WALKING. We got up to our hotel room for a nap between lunch and cocktail hour to a message from my parents asking where they could find the video camera because “Nathan is walking across the living room to push Grandma over.” Of course. From one step to one dozen steps. Crawling is still Nathan’s favorite mode of transportation (it’s still faster after all), but yesterday we got a half inch lift for his right shoe - now that he’s balanced and walking, crawling may not last much longer. Just as long as he doesn’t start running any time soon...
